Lennox Hastie goes back to the country that inspired his love of fire with a Basque inspired brunch series over six Sundays. The fire-powered menu will feature dishes from the pintxos bars in Northern Spain with a Firedoor spin. Expect a menu made up of grilled peppers, jamon, wood baked eggs with chorizo, ash baked potato tortilla, hay smoked sardines on Firedoor’s famous bread and to finish, wood fired flan. A selection of brunch inspired drinks by Firedoor’s bar manager will be available including grilled tomato bloody marys, breakfast martinis and vermouths, the proper way to start a meal in San Sebastian.
