Due to Government advice regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Firedoor will be temporarily closed from Monday 23 March. We will be reviewing our reservation availability in accordance with the evolving public health advice.

Please note we are currently working through the logistics of how we can fulfill market box orders on an ongoing basis. Once we have this detail following our first market box pick up on Thursday 26 March, we will share this information across our instagram, facebook and to our database. Stay tuned!

 

Every day at Firedoor, we have the honour of cooking with incredible ingredients produced with extraordinary passion and hard work by local farmers, growers, bakers and fisherman.

Community plays a pivotal role in our industry, and our Firedoor community includes a number of small family run producers who truly need our support right now.  

To lend our support, we are bringing their beautiful produce to the people! We will be working closely with our network to create a weekly Firedoor Market Box filled with fresh, local ingredients to nourish and comfort your family at home. Your Firedoor Market Box will be handpicked by Lennox and his team, and will include a weekly mix of stunning produce; from our house baked bread and hand-churned smoked butter, to a bounty of the season’s best fruit and vegetables, local eggs, and protein. A selection of premium produce, like our dry aged steak, will be available as an optional add in to your market box upon ordering. 

We will be launching this week with 40 boxes. Orders placed by 5pm tomorrow, Saturday 21 March, will be on a first come, first serve basis, for Thursday 26 March pick up. The first 40 orders placed will be contacted directly within 24 hours via phone to confirm order and organise payment. Anyone who misses out this week, will be added to a list to alert when next week’s orders are going live.
